BACKGROUND
Lexi Mayan
Physician Assistant, Certified · PA-C
She earned a Master’s in Public Health from Bournemouth University in Bournemouth, England, and completed her medical training through the Indiana University Physician Assistant Program. She is also trained and certified in Functional Medicine through the Functional Medicine Academy. Her clinical experience includes practicing in both Dermatology and Family Medicine. As a former college athlete, she has always been passionate about health, wellness, and preventive medicine. She believes in taking a holistic approach to healthcare by identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than simply treating symptoms.

CLIENT EXPERIENCE
She believes it’s extremely important for the patient and provider to feel like they are on the same page. Providing medical care should be a collaboration, with recommendations from the medical professional and decisions made jointly. Ultimately, it is the patient’s body and the patient’s life. A great client experience means the patient is educated and feels empowered about their care plan.
OUTSIDE THE SPA
She spent a year studying and playing basketball in England. While overseas, she made friends from all over the world, traveled, and experienced cultural differences on a daily basis.

Hormone health. It is so crucial to optimizing our health, down to a cellular level. Nearly every bodily process thrives on healthy and stable hormone levels. This includes educating patients on true lifestyle medicine, and how they can contribute to their overall health and wellness with everyday habits and practices.
