BOTOX / DYSPORT

Each day your face forms thousands of expressions. Some are repeated many times. Eventually, that draws skin into folds called dynamic wrinkles. BOTOX and DYSPORT are purified proteins. Injected into precise points just beneath the skin, this neuromodulator interrupts signals from nerves that tell muscles to contract. As underlying muscles relax, the skin smooths out and fine lines and wrinkles soften noticeably.

After we check you in at Obsidian, we'll take you to one of our treatment rooms. Our expert injector will talk to you about your goals, what bothers you about your skin, and how best we can get you to your goals. If that means BOTOX or DYSPORT, your face will be cleaned and marked with a white pencil marking the perfect injection points. A few small pokes later (we use very small, sharp insulin needles for maximum patient comfort, you'll be done! Appointments take 20-30 minutes. We'll go over post-care instructions and give you a card with our cell phone numbers and printed instructions.

BOTOX and DYSPORT are non-surgical, so you will be able to get up and go right back to your day after your session. However, there are a few important rules to observe. You should abstain from vigorous exercise for at least 24 hours, and avoid lying down for at least 4-6 hours after your BOTOX or DYSPORT treatment in Frankenmuth. Some minor swelling, bruising, or redness may be present after your injections, but these are no cause for alarm. They will go away within a day or so.

Change begins to appear within about 72 hours, and improvement continues for a week, with maximum results at two weeks. DYSPORT will kick in faster but still wait the full two weeks for full benefit. Results will last 3-4 months, some people will metastasize the BOTOX and DYSPORT quicker than others.
